The Australian regulatory record
The formal warning names Neptune Projects S.R.L. as a provider of the Vegastars service and records a finding of a breach of subsection 15(2A) of the Interactive Gambling Act. The warning is dated 20 January 2026; ACMA’s publication page was updated on 27 February. Read the ACMA publication and warning.
ACMA separately named Vegastars in its 13 February 2026 website-blocking announcement. The regulator said investigations had found the listed services operating in breach of the Act. Read the blocking announcement.
These are dated regulatory records, not customer-opinion scores. They deserve a more prominent place in an Australian consumer review than visual design, game-library headlines or promotional language. The warning identifies a provider at the time of the investigation; we do not extend it into an unsupported claim about every subsequent corporate arrangement.
Reassessing the earlier review
The former version of this page combined a polished presentation with highly specific assertions about payment times, customer-service averages and category ratings. Its precision made the assessment look extensively tested, but we did not have the underlying records needed to substantiate that impression.
Useful material to preserve
Readers still need separate sections for operator identity, regulatory history, account conditions, mobile accessibility and disputes. Those topics make a review useful and navigable. Reducing the entire page to a short notice removed too much of that structure.
Claims that need evidence
A payment-time average needs transaction observations. A support score needs recorded interactions. A customer-review average needs a dated source and context. These cannot be recreated by choosing plausible numbers or copying another reviewer’s conclusion.
Our revised assessment therefore restores detail while keeping the source status visible. It does not reproduce the former “legitimate operator” reassurance as a verified fact, nor does it label every complaint as proven misconduct. Both positive and negative conclusions require support.
Banking, mobile experience and account issues
For banking, the important distinction is between a displayed method, a published policy and observed performance. A logo only establishes that the site displays a logo. It does not establish eligibility, the handling of a particular account or the outcome of a withdrawal request. We have not carried out the account-level work needed to rate those processes.
For mobile use, a useful review would document navigation, text size, policy visibility and whether help remains easy to find on a small screen. A visually attractive mobile page is not evidence about account protections. Our own redesigned page is responsive; that should not be confused with a test of VegaStars’ interface.
For existing disputes, separate the problem into a timeline: the request, the reply, the policy explanation and any unresolved point. Retain the relevant records and avoid publishing personal documents or complete payment details. The Toppokies support guide links to official resources. We cannot investigate or resolve an individual balance dispute on the operator’s behalf.
Third-party review platforms can provide leads for further research, but an individual account report is not automatically representative. Likewise, a headline score should not erase a regulator’s published finding. Readers benefit from seeing the evidence categories separately rather than having them compressed into a single star rating.
Questions answered
Was VegaStars named by ACMA?
Yes. The sources above include a formal warning concerning the service and a February 2026 blocking announcement. The dates and the scope of each record are shown in this review.
Why have the old ratings been removed?
We lack the documented testing evidence needed to support those numerical scores. Restoring the page’s depth does not justify restoring unsupported precision.
Does this page verify payment speed?
No. It explains the evidence needed for such a claim, but does not present untested speed estimates as a measured result.
